Involvement. The performance instructional tasks contained in this web site were developed by Roland Park Public School teachers. They were assisted in a 1996 summer workshop by a school improvement facilitator from WORKFORCE 2000, INC. Since then the teachers have taught the performance-based tasks and helped us to become a "Blue Ribbon School." As more performance instructional tasks are developed by Roland Park teachers their tasks will be added to our instructional web site.
Results! Please note that we have achieved significant increases in our state school performance assessment scores. We attribute much of our school and instructional improvement to our performance-based approach to teaching and assessment. These performance tasks are a sample of our efforts. In the event that you should have a question about or suggestions for improving the tasks, feel free to enter comments below.
