CURRENT IMPROVEMENT PROCESS

Your current improvement process is whatever you are doing to improve teaching and student achievement.
Basically, teachers plan, teach, and test students as they deliver a school district curriculum at a specific grade level in approximately 180 days per year. Sometimes this process produces expected results in student learning and sometimes it doesn't. However, the public wants quality. And the public wants it over and over in relation to current and future needs and requirements. In education, in business, in dining, the public expects a quality product or service. Doesn't it make sense, then, that a quality-driven improvement process would help teachers to meet the needs of their primary customers -- students, parents, and principals.

The TaskBuilder Figure 8 Strategy helps teachers to focus on a quality-driven vision and process and to improve teaching and student learning.
